Sock packaging for the younger woman customer designed for edgier and fast moving tastes. Super quick seasonal and trend turn around of a huge array of product assortment.

Nordstrom + Turnstyle

A redesign of the complete Nordstrom Signature line of hosiery in collaboration with Turnstyle Design. The new look combines sense of fashion, attitude and sass through playful photography and expressive typography.

This selection represents a part of that collection redesign.

Tucker & Tate

Branding development for a line of casual clothing for boys ranging in age from 8-13. Concepts were shared in a fairly exhaustive joint venture between NPG and Avery Dennison Corporation. The final solution was a union of my typography with Avery’s tire swing tree icon. I have included a small offering of design out takes from my perspective during the later stage concepts to semi final designs to begin to illuminate some steps in the process

Wallin & Bros.

Creating a shoe box and label identity system that would be somewhat reminiscent, and paying homage to the early Nordstrom history when it was known as Wallins in the early 1900’s

Stem

Stem was developed as a young woman's brand sold in the TBD department. It was launched as the stores first sustainable brand at that time.

Stem Baby

Stem expanded its offerings to the baby & infant department still carrying the same sustainability message as the young women's brand offered in TBD department.

Hinge | TBD

Hinge was introduced to the TBD department as a young women's brand. Designed to be an evolutionary labeling system. The brand was intended to stay fresh and relevant and respond to the fast moving seasonal trends.

Tarnish | Womens Accessories

Women’s accessories assortment, consisting mainly of cashmere scarves, convertible wearables, purses and small leather goods.

Identity system created for what was initially going to be a line of equestrian inspired sport and activewear including accessories for men and women.

The challenge was to create a look that could begin to capture a sophisticated aesthetic for the clothing line but also translate to being used architecturally at the owners equestrian environment on the side of a barn located at Seabrook WA.

A wine bar located at Seabrook on the coast of Washington, serving small plate seasonal fare with red & white flight tastings, cheese pairings, and charcuterie. This was the Stowaways initial design.

I have been fortunate enough to be involved with a number of retail space logo designs at Seabrook for almost a decade now. Some of these retail space may no longer exist or have been updated.

Doing some work for a new micro brewery in Hoquiam, WA. Working through some color options.

The concept was initiated with the idea that this bridge is one of the only ways that links the towns of Hoquiam and sister city Aberdeen. I liked the idea of using the shape created by the bridge and its reflection having a slightly industrial feel to the logo and H icon.

Working on some package designs for Conner & Sons Whisky Distillers. In the early stages

Deeper more traditional colors v.s. lighter or perhaps less expected colorations. Will be posting some more contemporary versions at some point as well. A couple logo versions ranging from minimalist to more elaborate.  

Pitching new creative to Bone Head Distillers & Brewers for a line of micro brews called Fake Beer, Real Beer & What Beer. 

Limited Edition Rhums

We have started the design process of looking at label designs for a new line of more exotic and imported spirits.

In observation of the need to stay more current and competitive, we have added a line of Spiced Rhums using tropical flavors that are appropriate to the region.

Neutral Spirits

The initial label design of the Bone Head distilled spirits series introducing what was their new line, featuring premium Gins & Vodkas.

Pacific Northworstearners Jazz Band

A pro bono logo for a friends jazz ensemble. A slight play on the word. Agreed, perhaps not the most optomistic message for the jazz music world. It’s a really hard way to make a buck. 

In truth, it’s a bitter pill, but they feel comfortable carrying that message to the stage.

Broccoli for the People

A clients four dogs are apparently crazy about broccoli –

So he wanted to commemorate this, creating an homage to their passion for the stuff in a Russian Constructivist styled poster graphic.

The 2018 Bigfoot Brewfest

Created the event posters, banners, signing and merchandise in support of the annual Bigfoot Brewfest, held at this Washington Coast vacation destination.

A sampling of logo designs for a cosmetic product line Pure & Coco.

The assignment was to design a logo that would feel appropriate for a female skewed demographic and that it look a bit more elevated than a somewhat granola approach. The hands were ultimately decided on feeling more humanized. It also helped with making the design more interactive with the coconut graphic. The final design begins to feel a little more gender neutral, holding future possibilities to appeal to a bit broader audience.

I have included 3 other looks as design options that were considered in the final round of the project.

Currently working on a series of labels for a brand of whiskey called The Orator American Distiller. A personal homage to some truly remarkable individuals. With their determination, they have helped pave the way in making America what it is today for the betterment for most of us.

What used to be Pacific North West Coast Calling, an homage to the PNW with all its beautiful natural assets is now a t-shirt graphic series at Seabrook located on Washington’s coast.

Women’s version with the heart. Men’s version comes without.
